Course Overview
The course will cover wave theories, wave, wind and current force predictions, single degree of freedom systems, rigid-body equations of single systems, dynamic analysis of FPSOs, semi-submersibles, TLPs and loading buoys. Case studies involving FPSOs and semisubmersibles.

The course is designed for engineers and scientists who are familiar with design and analysis of ships and/or offshore platforms.

1. Deep and shallow water wave kinematics
2. Wave and motion induced loading on floating offshore structures
