Conference facilitation services will be provided by Orlean Technical Solutions, Inc’s Robert Orlean and Ken Bayne.

Robert has 25 years of hands-on experience in the offshore oil and gas industry, holding positions in engineering, research and management. He routinely designs and leads complex technical problem solving workshops to meet a wide range of E&P challenges around the globe, with emphasis on maximizing value to the stakeholders. Robert holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of London’s Imperial College, and is a Certified Value Specialist accredited by SAVE International.

Ken is an Independent Deepwater Project Management Consultant currently working with Devon Energy Corporation. Ken is responsible for coordinating the current multi-disciplined, pre-development activities for the company's West Africa holdings. He has extensive deepwater development experience as a manager for Unocal, Mariner Energy and Shell Oil Company. He also served as an internal consultant to Shell, helping the organization learn leadership skills and team performance improvement. Ken holds a Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Illinois, is a registered Professional Engineer and a Certified Project Management Professional by the Project Management Institute.
