| IPTI and the Petroleum Division takes a leadership role in the transfer of technical and other information to engineers, worldwide, in industries developing energy sources, converting them to basic raw materials and fuels, or designing products, materials,systems or services used in these industries; including Petroleum, Natural Gas, Petrochemicals, Coal, Oil Shale, and others.
IPTI and the Petroleum Division, through its resources of information and member- volunteers, organizes and conducts technical conferences and workshops, fosters continued growth of engineering education, offers technical fellowship, promotes petroleum mechanical engineering as a career choice, and provides career development activities for engineers. |
